When moving the tea shop to downtown Spokane in 2004, we inherited a number of feral and stray cats that had been abandoned and were multiplying at an alarming rate.  With the help of Pet Savers, we trapped and neutered the colony, and found homes for many of the cats.  We now have our "regulars" that call our garden home.  They bask in the sun, snuggle in the shade and are always present at dinner time!  In the winter we provide shelter for them and they provide for us the joy that comes with helping another that is less fortunate than ourselves.
