Flying Objects

It's a bird! It's a plane!

No! It's a cat book, flying off store shelves and into shopping bags!

Last Thursday, four cases of Whiskers, Wit, and Wisdom arrived on my doorstep. Notice my smile as Myles looks away with demure modesty! The books are NOW available in bookstores and online. Purrs!

Not a cat lover? Though commenters at the water cooler may describe my new release as a cat book, let me clarify. It's much more! Purr-tinent themes are encapsulated in the 45 stories.

Are you or someone you know worried about a teen? Through a kitten named Lucky, you'll observe God's mercy on the young and reckless.

Waiting for a break? Like Kitty, recognize opportunity.

Teetering after a tragedy? Survive the blasts of life like Big Boy.

Consumed by consumables? Discover a worthy collectible--someone like Marshmallow.

Feeling useless? Volunteer your senior service. Paperweight set the example.

Are these really topics in cat stories? Yes, and the lives of more feline fur-iends like Maxwell, Lily, Cinnamon, and others, shed wit and wisdom on human challenges.

Like the cat who befriends sled dogs, or patronizes a tea shop, serves at a museum, survives a cat-astrophe, lives in a tree, outfoxes a predator, dispels loneliness at a prison, faces death in a snowbank, or brightens visitors at a lighthouse, plus MORE!

As buyers leaf through the pages, they are sure to delight in full-size pages of cat pictures followed by true stories, and the extras in every chapter--a quip of humor called "Kitty Wit," facts and quotations at the "Tail End," brief bios about the cat owners, and a sentence "Purr-rayer" that begins each story.

Through stories that portray the nature of cats and reveal the character of God, you'll gain a fresh focus from the fur-coated philosophy found in Whiskers, Wit, and Wisdom.

Dear Niki:

I've read seven of the "vignettes" in "Wiskers, Wit, and Wisdom". I love the format. Each bible verse you chose is surely what the little story exemplifies. The beginning prayers are so short the least prayerful of us will seek God's attention. "The Tail End" seamlessly educates or inspires. The kitties in the pictures seem alive.

I bought ther book at Auntie's. You might want to know they don't have this latest of your accomplishments on their computer. The lady who helped me called up to the appropriate section, and that attendant recognized my request immediately.
